The last post

 

Well this is the last post and I have to talk about my blog experience in the English class.

This was the first time that I have a blog, it is completely new experience for me. I love write, but I don’t like that other people read what I write, so it was a little shameful write, but also I enjoy it, because I think that it  was useful and helps me to improve and practice my written English, and to develop my English kills.

The advantages was that the blog made me improve my written English and increase my vocabulary and English skills, because so many times I had to seek out for the words that I thought were the appropriates to express what I want to say.

I like the topics of the posts are very different, various and interesting, but sometimes the time was very short and I can’t finish in the class, that was the only disadvantage, but in general I like the idea to write in English about any topic, post in the blog of my classmates, to share opinions, tastes, etc. I think that is a very good idea for learn English.

Well, finally I have to say that maybe I have a blog but now not in English, maybe in the future, because I like the idea to comment something interesting for me and share my opinion in my area of study.

Well that’s all goodbye to all and we see in English IV the next semester (I hope so)

Nine Queens

 

Two weeks ago I saw Nine Queens with my boyfriend, this film is very interesting and I enjoy it the beginning to the end, also we saw the movie with some pop corns and nachos.

This movie is an Argentinian crime suspense movie directed by Fabian Bielinsky and the actors are Gaston Pauls, Ricardo Darin and others.

Nine Queens is the history about two fraudsters who was the opportunity of give an important   amount of money to sell a fake of Nine Queens , a kind of stamp very strange and valuable, the action pass in one day and in every moment the action chance of direction, and the end is very unexpected.

I really like this film, he make me be in a constant suspense. I invite to see, sure that you don’t repent. In fact my boyfriend wants to see Nine Queens again that day.

Practice to the final test

Today I do a activity to practice for the final test, in my opinion was very interesting, I think that this web page is very useful to practice and is not boring on the contrary is very instructive.

In my case I do the activity and the part to most cost me was the listening, in the vocabulary was good and the reading test was good to a little large but good

Learning english in the web

Hello everybody

The activity of today was look around a web site http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/ dedicated to learn English.

In my opinion I think that the web is very interesting, is a little boring, but is a very useful for learn English, in the part of how to….we can learn expressions for talk, give your opinion, persuading, etc. I think that this topic will be useful to the final oral interaction.

In the grammar challenge section we can practice with some quizzes, works very interesting and

I think that the website is very easy to use, is clear, but I would like can see and listen the videos, because I can’t in this computer, so must to be in my house

Confortably Numb

Hello guys.

 

Is very difficult for me talk about one favorite song, because I like so much the music, but if I want to choose I think that the best song in the history of music is “comfortably numb” from Pink Floyd.

This song is part of the album The Wall and is considered one of the best songs of the band, is a rock song and is part of the musical movie from the band titled of the same way of the album “The Wall”

Comfortably numb talks about a sensation of feel paralyzed and lost in thought  when the world is fall down, but without this was a problem but contrary is a state of tremendous peace.

On the other hand, this song has two excellent guitar solos interpreted for the great David Gilmour, the true is that I like hear this song alone and with the light turn off because I like heard the instruments especially the guitar.

To finish I like invite to listening the song and to watch the movie, is very interesting I hope you like it. here is the video from the last presentation of Pink Floyd in Live 8 in Hyde Park

The first day.

I don’t remember a lot my first day in the university, because I have bad memory, so if I remember rightly the first class that I have was Representation and tradition with Rebecca Leon, but we don’t have the class because the director of the career    gives a welcome to the university   and talk about the importance of study in the university of Chile and some technical and administrative aspects form the faculty. I remember that all my classmates were frightened because the other students we scare with the “mechoneo” but finally don’t past anything.  Well the true is that I don’t remember what happened later, but I remember that I talk with several of my classmates and all are different and all comes from different places from Chile and that I liked.

I remember that I have a nice chat with different classmates and especially with Antonia because I know that w was at the same secondary school.

Well that is all, sorry I know that is a little poor my post but I have a terrible memory and whit sleepy is worse.

My friends

Hello everyone

today  I will talk about my best friends, I have tree best friends, their names are Patricia, Francisca and Karla, we met in high school, were classmates and had a great time during those four years. we all have different personalities; Francisca is structured, orderly, practical and mature, Karla is more rebellious and revolutionary and Patricia is the most relaxed, charismatic and more like me.
Before we went dancing at discos or to a party every  weekend, but now
for many reasons we do not see as often as before, but we talked often on the phone and I know I can always count on them. when we get together we talk for hours, we had a drink and remember the school times , we laugh, we also talk of things more serious and sometimes cried together.

one of the reasons why we don’t see so often is because some are studying, working, Patricia is working and studying human resources, fran is finishing is career of social work and has a young daughter and karla is a biology teacher . are very different but that makes it more entertaining friendship, we have different ways of seeing things and the most important is that I can trust them.
